The Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference yesterday (March 16). According to the spokesperson, with the optimization and adjustment of my country's epidemic prevention and control policies, Chinese and foreign companies have the conditions to participate in offline exhibitions. Starting from this year's Spring Fair, the Canton Fair Offline exhibitions will be fully resumed. The 133rd Canton Fair is scheduled to be held in Guangzhou in three phases from April 15th to May 5th. At the same time, the online platform will be operated regularly and online services will be provided around the clock.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, the 133rd Canton Fair will use the newly completed Zone D of the exhibition hall for the first time. The exhibition area will be expanded from 1.18 million square meters in the past to 1.5 million square meters, and the scale will hit a new high. A total of 54 professional exhibition areas have been set up, with more than 30,000 offline exhibitors, and more than 5,000 high-quality companies with titles such as manufacturing individual champions and national high-tech enterprises. The quality of exhibitions is constantly improving; online allows all qualified companies to participate , the number of enterprises exceeded 35,000, and the number of beneficiary enterprises continued to expand. This year's Canton Fair will increase investment promotion efforts to attract more domestic and foreign buyers to participate in the exhibition. Held more than 40 "Bridge of Trade" supply and purchase docking activities to help companies get orders and expand markets. At the same time, the second Pearl River International Trade Forum, a series of industry professional forums and nearly 400 trade promotion supporting activities will be held to promote the integrated development of the exhibition.

The Ministry of Commerce will go all out to hold this Canton Fair well with all local departments, give full play to the role of the Canton Fair as an all-round opening up platform, and help foreign trade stabilize its scale and optimize its structure. Chinese and foreign enterprises and businessmen are welcome to actively participate in the event, and share business opportunities.
